# Claim: President Trump said people in the United States are not talking about anything else

Verdict: 15%
Model: Kimi K2.6
Checked on: 14/05/2026

## Verdict explanation

Based on my research, I could not find any credible evidence that President Trump made the statement that "people in the United States are not talking about anything else."

- The search results from the claims database and web searches do not contain any record of Trump saying this exact phrase or any close variation of it[^1][^2][^3][^4][^5].
- Without knowing the specific context, date, or topic being referenced, this claim cannot be verified.
- Trump has made several recent high-profile statements in May 2026, including saying he "doesn't think about Americans' financial situation" when negotiating with Iran[^5], and calling his China summit "maybe the biggest summit ever"[^4], but none match the claimed quote.
- The claim appears to lack specific sourcing, context, and attribution needed for verification.
